Objectives

Our Educational Tour Operator Members are on a timely basis updated with the latest developments and changes as per the educational curriculum requirements along with safety standards with the help of eminent personalities, road shows, FAM tours, exhibition visits and interactive meets with vendors and suppliers of our industry.

Our ETOAI is a registered body and as per the norms of our association we conduct our committee meetings and AGM and regular awareness to our clients, vendors and suppliers on a regular basis. We would thus like to inform the various Govt. Ministries / Authorities / State Tourism Boards etc. about our Association and its reach to more than 20,000 educational institutions, with more than 75,00,000 student Travelers from various Educational institutes ,approx 10,000 hoteliers and various other vendors such as Authorized Guides, Transporters, Cultural and Heritage Sites are all associated with our Education Tour operators and their businesses across the country. We hope that the above information can be useful to revive the domestic tourism post covid in India with the collaboration of ETOAI Members to promote Edu -tourism for the educational sector. Assuring you of our best cooperation and support for a long lasting relationship.

The ETOA, India’s current objectives are:

  • To promote bharat dekho and promote different domestic tourism circuits through student’s educational tourism developed by ministry of tourism, India & bring Educational Tour operators in INDIA, under one umbrella.

  • To promote environmentally friendly, responsible and sustainable educational tourism.

  • To exchange and disseminate knowledge within Educational Travel Trade Fraternities for the development of Educational Tourism in India.

  • To encourage cultural exchanges and national integration through educational tourism.

  • To coordinate with other tour operator associations in India for the survival and revival of School and College Students Educational Tourism, Post Covid - 19.

  • To organize CSR activities for the needy people of the society in India. We are also ready to sponsor E Toilet and further to maintain near tourist spots in Mumbai.

  • To coordinate and liaison with Central and State Tourism and Education departments for getting a separate recognition for Educational Tour Operators and Represent the interests of the Educational Travel Trade in India and to become voice of Education Tour Operators.

  • To coordinate with the different stake holders in education tourism for the better experience to the students. The stake holder includes Caterers, Transporters, Hotels and Resorts, local guides, escorts, national monument authorities, museums, Manufacturing and Service firms etc.

  • To monitor and update our members regarding all legislative proposals, non-legislative measures and activities, which have a direct bearing on the Educational Tourism Segment.

  • To build very good professional and business relationships and also beyond that human relationship among the members to help and support complimentary businesses.
